Zane Scotland testing out BB putter
Published by Tom Boucher
On a picturesque day bathed in golden sunlight, golf enthusiasts gathered at the serene Remedy Oak Golf Club for a charitable event that combined the love of the sport with the joy of giving back. Held by Chicken and Blues restaurant, this event was organised to support The Steve Bernard Foundation a charitable organisation dedicated to making a positive impact on people's lives.
Zane Scotland, a professional golfer, tried out a Bertie Boucher putter during the event and provided positive feedback. It's always valuable to receive feedback from experienced golfers like Zane, especially when they appreciate the weight and feel of our putter. He truly enjoyed the endless amount of combinations that are available and that it can be truly unique to the individual. Such feedback can be helpful for players and our development team.
In a remarkable turn of events, the day reached its pinnacle when one lucky golfer achieved the seemingly impossible—a hole in one and scooping up £25,000 for achieving this great feat on the 9th hole.
Thanking the team and sponsors is a gracious gesture, and it's wonderful to see the golf community come together for charity events like this one supporting The Steve Bernard Foundation. It's not just about the competition but also about supporting good causes and enjoying the sport.
The Steve Bernard Foundation
It was excellent to see a large turn out in supporting the Charity and raising money for this charity.
The Steve Bernard Foundation was set up in memory of the affectionately named Stevie B following his tragic passing in a car accident in November 2005.
Since the foundation was formed in February 2006, it has gone on to raise more than £500,000 for sporting projects based across Bournemouth, Dorset and the South Coast. To date, the foundation has supported more than 400 projects covering more than 30 sports and 4 continents.
